Not the fanciest but you cannot beat the value. If you skipped breakfast and it's almost noon - give them a try the food is good and the portions are quite decent - not to mention the service which is fast and yet quit friendly.
Good basic home cooking at reasonable prices. It was very busy both times I ate there, but the wait times weren't too long.
Visited with a group of 8 and the Restaurant managed to accommodate us on a very busy Friday evening. Food was good and the service was friendly. The restaurant is not licensed. Appeared that there were many regulars enjoying an early Friday dinner.
You can't get a better "home cooked" breakfast anywhere. One of my favorite greasy spoons. Perfect spot for a late morning breakfast with friends. Very family friendly restaurant.
My daughter often drop in for lunch when she is visiting. Friendly service and very reasonable prices. We usually share a piece of their famous chocolate cake with boiled icing. I often order a chocolate cake for family birthdays as well.
