has been better. in theory you can't go wrong with hot dogsand chips but here it was really bland. a little pricey for ordinary snack-bar fare. service was a little slow though.

We went here for lunch after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. However we were disappointed by the burgers... not a lot of flavour, and the buns are very doughy.

If you want to get away from the Fairmont Montebello for a quick dinner. This is the place. Good ingredients, quick and tasty. Very cheap so don’t expect 5 star but still good.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way to Chateau Montebello. Poutine with smoked meat is a must and the portions really generous. I ordered the veggie burger. I found that the many condiments that came with the burger overwhelmed the sandwich, making it hard to handle and hard to taste the burger itself. Some of the condiments were a bit strange– pickled peppers, I think? It wasn't...the flavor combination for me. The fries were good, though.More

If you live in Ottawa and want to go for a nice drive punctuated with a fantastic burger, this is the spot! Super kind owner, local ingredients, menu in French and English AND we could eat outside with our pup laying on the grass beside...us. Just go. Eat. Enjoy!More

Really nice fast food, fries and coleslaw. Service was fast and homemade. The view over the river was wonderful!

We visited Delice Champetre one afternoon during our two day stay at Montebello. While the owner is really nice and there is seating inside and outside, the menu is in French and we needed the owner to translate it to us. What we ended up...ordering just had a lot of potatoes! Endless fries. I am not saying the food is bad but order only if you are sure of what you are ordering. Also, as a result of not knowing how to read the menu (perhaps) we ordered something called petite something for the kids. It had lots of fries and about 4 chicken nuggets shaped like animals. Among 3, 3-year olds, those small nuggets disappeared in a minute. And then there was war! We liked the ice-cream shop inside but were not really fans of the food.More

I went to this place during a tour. Stopped in Montebello as it is a nice village. First time to this place and I was super impressed by the quality of their food. Fries are delicious and the veggie burger was awesome. When they say...homemade they are not joking. Way to go!More

This place is insanely good. Everything is made locally - the bread, the sausages, the cheese. I had a "hot dog," which was not a hot dog at all - it was a locally-made German style sausage on a wonderful fresh roll with house made...sauerkraut. The owner was quite charming; he couldn't have been nicer or more enthusiastic about the fact that I'm an American who can (sort of) speak French. Definitely a worthwhile stop if you're in or near Montebello.More

The staff were very accommodating, they went through the menu in English. The burgers and poutine were both very good.
