Long time friends enjoyed a delicious Monday morning breakfast. Cappuccino danced in our cups and on our tongues. I was attracted by the praise for eggs Benedict in other reviews of this restaurant. We arrived at 11:32, and were told that there was no breakfast after 11:30. Very few tables, and staff was not friendly.More

Thanks to TA'S contributors for the great recommendation. We stopped for lunch, and the service and food were amazing. We had the "La marocaine" and the Curry and both were tasty and delicious. As mentioned by others, the service is first class. We treatted ourself...with a glass of red wine (Frontaura Aponte Toro Reserva), the selection is limited but there is something for every taste and price. I’ve been to many restaurants in both Ontario and Quebec, and never before have I been to a place where all the employees speak both English and French as fluently as one another. The food, from the crepes all the way to the bread and...ham, was clearly all made fresh from scratch on the premises. Every aspect of the experience was a cut above the usual restaurant experience for that price point. Also I’ve never met a friendlier bunch of people. After one visit to Montabello we were anxious to come back. After a second trip and getting a 20 dollar breakfast that would have cost a minimum of 35 dollars anywhere else I’m actually considering moving here. Ottawa Ontario restaurants could learn a lot from a place like this.More

can only comment on one dish, the club croissant…flaky croissant with fresh tomatoes; crispy bacon and tender white chicken meat. all this with a delicious side salad with a light summery vinaigrette… with this attention to taste and detail . , everything here must be...good. had a cappuccino which actually had a taste. i’m so happy to not drink burnt coffee that the chains give you. staff was attentive and friendly.More

We ate breakfast here while in Montebello. The restaurant is small and has a B&B kind of feel which is super cute and cozy. They have a great breakfast menu with fresh food and incredible staff. They are so friendly and accommodating to dietary requests....They even have gluten-free bread! I would recommend this place for its food, ambiance, and wonderful staff. They also respect COVID and all servers are masked.More

The staff here are always welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious. On a Saturday morning we had to wait a few minutes for a table of 4, but it was well worth it!

We happened upon Le Cafe Entre Amis while staying in Montebello last week. We're so happy that we did! The food was delicious (try the cinnamon brioche French toast - you won't regret it), the coffee was rich and hot, the service was incredible and...the owner is as friendly as they come. Having breakfast at the Cafe is the perfect way to start a day.More

This restaurant is wonderful. We went there three days in a row on our stay in Montebello. The staff were lovely. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this Cafe.
