A perfect final meal before returning to the US

We just happened to stay next door at Kpricho Boutique hotel which was amazing. They referred is to Mixtura for brunch on pur last day. The restaurant is located at the Relief Winery. Its nestled in this little valley where they grow their wines. The views are amazing and the food was too! We had the waffles and bacon and the chiliquitas and Barbados. Both were fantastic. The service was good and the people were gracious. We will definitely return. Be sure to visit the winery while you're there.

Weekend at el Valle

The service was superb and the food was excellent. Had heard of this place through social media and was excited to try it. Everything our group ordered was delicious. I got to see the instafamous bartender Andy. I was too shy to go up and take a picture but her drinks are a must-try when you visit Mixtura.

Great view and amazing food,

Great view and amazing food, thanks to the chef!!!! The service is so so.... they have a mandatory 15% tip which is totally wrong, the customer must define the tip not the restaurant.....we left a bit uncomfortable and disappointed....not sure we are coming back

So we visted here on Aug 15th 2020, we was a group of 12 so was a bit hectec in most places for the service, but here we had a bas experiance cuz the waitress lady was super rude and mean and the second waitress(or helper not sure) was nice but had no idea of ANYthing we orderd. The food was good nd the place was nice thata why i gv them a 2 stars. What made me not gv at least 3 stars was the fact that they had a mandatory 15% tip after 8people. I disnt think that was fair being that there service was terrible. I left 11% nd it became a issue. But after telling the waitress how we felt we left the 15% to bad for her i usally leave 20% being that im mexican!

Fantastic Food

What I Liked: The Food. The best. The Salad was delicious. Perfect Balsamic. Ceviche Succulent. Rib Eye. Wow. Fish of the Day Sea Bass. Juicy Super Fresh. Vegetables. Mouth Watering. How often do I eat all my vegetables? I recommend it. One I really like. What I didn't like: Smallest drinks in the World. They must use a thimble for a shot glass. Recommend. Take your own in a flask. Pour it in when they aren't looking. Slow. Don't plan on going anywhere fast. Summary: A must. Beautiful setting. I will return just for the dessert. Yum yum.

Amazing food in a serene location

I went with a group of 6 people. We started off this fun experience with the restaurant giving us “on the house” oysters with a mignonette sauce. They were so good we ordered more. A couple of us had the fish of the day which was perfectly cooked. The duck tacos were very flavorful and not greasy. The potato sticks had an amazing sauce with them. The risotto was perfect for the vegetarian in our group. We all left saying we will be back.

This place has one of the best wines Julio 14 and carácter ! Offering the best oysters I ever had and I’m a fan of oysters. Everywhere I go I order oysters! It is small and private and it’s executive chef it’s on top of everything!

One of the most fantastic and recurring themes in this wonderful wine-centric area is the abundance of Ladies in charge!!!Mixtura is no exception. The Chef delivers food which is fresh, creative, damn beautiful and super delicious. Top it all off with their spectacular setting --and wine--and you've got a winner in my book.

Good food , slow service

I wanted to love this place, cute decor , the restaurant is a shipping crate, great views , near Relieve winery ( but not associated with , we were told by the family of Relieve) . We were started off with complimentary oysters which were very good. The pasta was pretty good, and the prices were 15-20$ for lunch. the biggest complaint was having lunch reservations at 230, not very many people in the place and we did not even get food until almost 4, and since they messed up on one order it was 415 when one in our party got food. This caused us to delay our 4 pm wine tasting and get get us back to San Diego much later than expected. There is no reason to return when there are so many other good restaurants in the Valle (such as Malva )

My husband and I went there to wine taste, Relieve wines, then proceeded to other vineyards, but later that day we returned to Mixtura and bought a couple of bottles of their wine. It was so nice and relaxing. The staff was attentive and spoke English well. We will be back again soon!

The Restaurant is set inside the facilities of Vineyard Relieve, arriving is easy, has a sign right at the exit from road. The vineyard is under construction/expansion and is looking good. The Restaurant is set on a concrete floor, looks, nice clean, comfortable, tables, chairs, is nice.No one greets you upon entering to the Restaurant and to assign you a table. Menu has different options, all look good.We tasted 2 of the Relieve wine's MALBEC and Cabernet and were good. Presentation of food in plate and taste is also good. Just one waiter servicing all tables, this needs to be corrected because it took more than 3.5 hours to eat. Restrooms also need refilling of paper towels and clean up, they were dirty. Customer service, like the Chef or the Manager visiting the tables could help.

Hidden Gem!

I took my office on a retreat to Baja, and this is a fantastic restaurant set in a beautiful vineyard. Serving Peruvian Baja fusion cuisine on an outdoor terrace, the food is delicious with their Relieve wines equally good, the service excellent and the views lovely. I will be back, hopefully very soon!

What a Delight

After reading about Mixtura, we arrived for lunch. It is one of the most beautiful settings in the Valle, Surrounded by vinyards, they play wonderful music to accompany the food. We were the only ones there as it was a weekday. (Always try to go to the Valle on weekdays). We had ceviche and risotto which were marvelous. We drank a Pinot Noir Rose, which was a first for me and had to buy a bottle to take home.
