Don't be discouraged by the bumpy road off the beaten path - what awaits you is delicious wine and some of the best food I've ever had (seriously!) Lovely outdoor patio and casual elegance. The wines are delicious and very reasonably priced. We even talked to the winemaker who was helping pour and he's super cool. Then we had lunch and WOW! The ceviche was the best I've ever had. Like, it ruined me for regular ceviche for the rest of my life. Also the tacos de canasta were amazing. And put the peanut chile sauce on everything. Highlight of our trip to the valle hands down. Gracias!!

The sun was low in the sky and I desperately wanted to witness the sunset from a vineyard with a glass of wine in my hand. After my friends and I got turned away from Encuentro (should have arrived earlier) and a quick Google search of āwineries near meā we made a phone call to Sol Fortun and were welcomed over. Little did we know that the drive there would be an adventure which took us deep into an offshoot valley and their vineyard. It was beautiful.
When we arrived at the winery, we were greeted by giant oak tree, an impressive outdoor dining area, and our host for the evening, Santiago. We were already delighted, and hadnāt even sat down yet. After choosing a table with a view of the vineyard, Santiago brought over the menu board and a portable heater was set up next to us.
We ordered individual glasses of Nobel Cru and Cabernet Sauvignon, both great. Originally, we werenāt going to eat, but we couldnāt resist sharing the following: Tartar AtĆŗn, Smoked/Grilled Cauliflower, and the Botana de Casa, which was a delicious hot plate of sausage and sliced baguette. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we couldnāt stop exclaiming about how good it all was.
Santiago was a friendly host and on point throughout our stay.
We canāt wait to return and bring more friends and family.

Our trip to Dulce Vida is something worth writing home about. The service is spot on and the food is full of flavor and creativity. We were a group of 4 and were celebrating a birthday. We tried all but 3 items on the menu as we shared the plates and were impressed with most of the dishes. They can all stand on there own as a dish to come back to. My top 3 were the tacos de canasta, tacos de marlin and portobello en mole.
Getting to the restaurant is half the fun, you drive through solar fortun vineyard to get there and you are seated under a big oak tree. The breeze is nice and the music plays well, enough to hear but never loud that you canāt enjoy the conversation at the table.
If you want to feel like you are away from the hustle, come to Dulce Vida and enjoy the food and wine, youāll feel like your enjoying a little piece of Valle de Guadalupe heaven.

Keep going... just keep going... because whatās at the end of this rainbow is Solar FortĆŗn and its restaurant, Dulce Vida. It is its own corner of paradise... surrounded by its own beauty and tranquility. the epitome of sweet life.
It was another party of one outing for me and this time it was in gorgeous Valle de Guadalupe. Solar Fortunās al fresco eatery, Dulce vida was my favorite spot of my solo trip. The service was an 11 out of 10 and the food is memorable- and thereās a lot to me said for a meal you donāt forget. I ordered the tartar de atun and what came out was a tuna poke that was a party in my mouth.
I may have gotten there alone but ended up feeling like I had made friends... especially with Piki(the owners sweet lab)
Dulce Vida comes with a very charismatic and customer service oriented owner, that takes the time to sit and chat with each one of his customers. It is a perfect place to enjoy what we in Mexico describe as sobremesa; enjoying wonderful wine tasting options. I had to take home their rosƩ; it was perfect for the weather and mood!
And next time I wonāt be going alone. Iāll have my very handsome 4 pawed date. Because bonus, Solar Fortun winery is dog friendly.
It was simply lovely. So keep going.. just keep going.

My family and I have been visiting Valle de Guadalupe for a few years now but this was our first visit to Solar Fortun, the vineyard where Dulce Vida is located. Our intention was purely to do a wine tasting at the vineyard, but everything was so inviting, we ended up staying for lunch.
My husband and I had the ceviche as it was a hot summer day, so we wanted something fresh. All I can say is WOW!!! Hands down, the best ceviche I have ever had. We followed it by the Tacos de Canasta and Taco de Marlin. Everything was incredibly well presented and it tasted even better than it looked. The homemade salsa was a great addition to each dish. It wasn't overpowering and really just brought all the flavors together. We finished our meal with a Flan Casero, which was also really good. I saw another table order the Carrito de Paletas, and they seemed to be enjoying it.
The service was impeccable, everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed at all times. Our glasses were always full and our table was kept tidy.
Make a reservation and enjoy. I will recommend this place to all my acquaintances and anyone who will listen ;)

Tucked away in a cozy valley surrounded by vineyards and the rustic hillside is this idyllic oasis for a dramatic getaway for an amazing wine tasting and lunch with that favorite person in the wine country of Francisco Zarco.

If you want to go to an unusual place in the tranquility of the countryside. Dulce Vida is the appropriate place. A few kilometers from the motorway in Francisco Zarco in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe. Enjoy an excellent cuisine with ceviches and grill meat or fresh fish of the best quality. The restaurant is characterized by an spectacular scenery, informal and family ambient. The wine is excellent and the scenery unparalleled. Bon appetite.

Excelent food and service!
One of the few places in Valle de Guadalupe where you are still catered by the owners who also happen to be the chef (trained at the famous Cordon Bleu) and award winning enologist.
Highly recommended for the excellent food, wine and family friendly grounds :)
