Situated on a hilltop, the space is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous view. Staff was super friendly. Some in our group opted for the seasonal tasting menu while others chose items from the a la carte menu. The a la carte items, especially the birria and cheese plate, were outstanding. The tasting menu was pretty good but a little inconsistent throughout, though the wine pairings were excellent. Favorites in the tasting included the chocolate ice cream dessert paired with a chardonnay as well as the corn cake with pork. I would return and order from the a la carte menu.

We visited Once Pueblos on Christmas Eve and what a fantastic Christmas Eve it was. The food was incredible
we opted for the tasting menu which was fantastic. By far our favourite was their tamal with mole (best mole we have every tasted! The service was above and beyond, we had cocktails, wine, ponche recommended to us, all delicious. A true festive treat. We couldn’t of asked for a better meal and service on Christmas Eve.
Truly wonderful.
Highly recommend coming for a visit. We will definitely be returning.

This was not on our preplanned itinerary, but we needed to add a dinner in and wanted to be inside as it was chilly and most places in the Valle are outdoors. The views were spectacular as we were there for sunset, and the food matched the setting. My favorite course was the tamales, however my partner's main which was carnitas which were both tasty and massive! We ended up taking leftovers home which was great (warmed up for a perfect pre-wine tasting breakfast the next day). We were also in need of a break from wine, and their cocktails were very good. Highly recommend!

This experience was just wonderful. The food was very different but very tasty. They were extremely hospitable, the place is just beautiful. We were there during the evening and the views were amazing. The wine was also delicious as well as the cheese platter. The chairs and art work is beautiful. The landscape is breathtaking! I will be coming back.

We were staying at nearby hotel (Lumi) and wanted to get our vacation started and this winery was right up the road. I'm so happy we popped in. What a beautiful place.
They have a beautiful patio where we enjoyed some of the best wines while in Valle. They also had this delicious chipotle cheese that I can not stop thinking about.
To get to them is a wild dirt road but worth it. The views of the valley, the pups roaming around, and their food and wine are worth it.

I did not know what to expect and found the best kept secret in Baja.
I can't wait to bring my family here.
Customer service is above five stars.
You also get to see the view from the gods perspective.

A beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view and deeply considered and carefully presented cuisine. Once Pueblos is a restaurant with a real sense of occasion and elegance. The staff is welcoming and incredibly well trained. The experience was precise, delicious, and very much what you might expect from a European Micheline star restaurant.
The bad news is that it was hard to find on the usual terrible roads and $20 worth of signage would have saved us a huge headache of a wrong turn into an impassable track.
The other bad news is that we were the only diners the night we went, and this feels like an impending tragedy. That something so carefully presented might not make it as a business is heart breaking. I hope this gem is widely discovered and that they garner a large crowd of those folks who didn't reserve early enough to score a table at Animalon or Fauna and, like us, get to discover this beautiful work of art atop a mesa overlooking the vineyards.

We just got into this place at the last seating and we couldn’t be happier!!!
Julio, our waiter was excellent with explaining the courses and pointing out the intricacies of the Platings. and I got to practice my broken Spanish with the other server Alex.
We did the Six course menu with wine(and one beer) pairing and it was a real good deal.
The individual menu looked amazing as well. But that is another visit.

Highly recommend a visit. This place is so well planned, the views all around as well as their attention to detail. The restaurant and service are bar none. It is a bit on the more expensive side but it is all very well worth what you pay.

A bit rough getting to this winery as it is approximately 3 kilometers from the main road. But once we got there, we sat and had some yummy food and good wine. The Ceviche was delightful.

First time in Valle de Guadalupe and somehow we finished at this incredible place on top of a hill facing the valley. A six course menu paired with delicious wine made this experience an unforgettable one.
Food was great, service was excellent, their wine selection was supreme but the host Arnulfo was by far the nicest guy on this trip.
Oh... the place itself is impressive.
By the way... the food is based on dishes from different parts of Michoacan (you know... Coco, Day of the Death, all that stuff is from Michoacan so this is authentic Mexican food).
The gastronomy in Guadalupe Valley is very competitive but definitively planning on coming back to ONCE PUEBLOS & SIERRAVITA next year.
