Let me say this, we go to Hacienda Guadalupe almost weekly for a nice, relaxing, breakfast. That's enough recommendation in and of itself, no? Yes, we live right in the heart of the Ruta de Vino so we are surrounded by good places to eat and most of them are extravagantly pricey. Hacienda Guadalupe has one of the best views of all those eateries, their staff is well trained, their food is very good, and usually the music is not instrusive (we don't go to listen to music but to have time together as a couple). We like to sit at one of the garden tables... grass under our feet, flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds around us. And the view is unhindered, it's right there, we are overlooking the vine-filled valley. Life is good.

Superb food and service

We planned a birthday party for my husband at this restaurant and, from the very beginning, they were so professional and responsive. There were a lot of details to work out over email and Nadia was immensely helpful, even offering to provide a birthday cake and recommending van transport options for our group. The food was really delicious and they were able to offer a vegetarian option as well. Even though it was a very hot day, we enjoyed lunch on the terrace overlooking the valley. Everything was seamless and it was my favorite part of the day. I highly recommend this venue for any special events. Thank you Nadia and Hacienda Guadalupe!

Ready for reservation, great service, very nice view, good food!

Made breakfast reservations for 16 person party for the patio with a view and they were ready when we arrived. Plenty of parking, hosts were ready, along with waiter Macias who was funny, personable, and attentive. He had great support as well to make sure our large group was taken care of. Great service, view is very nice, and the food was good (a little on the cold than warm side, but I think that is because they timed for us to receive all our food at once?) Overall had a great experience, highly recommend, and will be back.

Major disappointment

After reviewing the place and the menu on line, checking their website and business hours, I was so excited to celebrate my wife’s birthday with an early dinner there. We were left majorly disappointed as we arrived only to find they were closed.. No information about the closure was referenced anywhere on there website. The staff person who informed us of closure identified their bar/restaurant was open and confirmed same menu items were available,(was not true, as we discovered). Since we had already arrived we attempted ordered, only to be informed that the two items we wanted from the menu were not available. Unfortunately do to our itinerary we had to settle for eating there anyway. We settled for New York steak, which was very ordinary and a view of bushes. To try to be a little positive there totopos and guacamole were tasty.

Good but not incredible for price

Lovely staff and service, but my breakfast of Huevos Rancheros while topped with fresh garden veggies was underwhelming and not very filling or flavorful. I hate to say as much, but it was also a little expensive and I hate to waste a meal while on vacation! Maybe just an off day. amazing coffee and service!

Had high expectations

Beautiful views, I was honestly underwhelmed by the food and mixed drinks but the service and ambiance made up for it. We specifically made reservations because this is LGBT friendly spot and for a business to be tagged that is important. I know there were mixed reviews but all in all supporting this place was very important to us. Because there are so many amazing places to eat and get drinks in Valle I had hoped for more but all in all I am happy with my visit.

Valle de Guadalupe is the Tuscany of Mexico

Great views, the food was one of the best I've had in Valle. Food quality, service & value can't be matched. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everything on the menu is great. That's why I must comeback and try the rest of the menu.

The expectacular view, excellent service, and quality food / wine makes Hacienda Guadalupe a solid 5. We ate in the patio with a nice Nebbiolo watching the sunset. It was breaktaking. I will book the hacienda next time we visit Valle de Guadalupe.

Great location, mediocre food

6 of us had lunch here on a Thursday. We had a lovely vineyard view and choice of tables as hardly anyone was there. The food was good, but not great. I had fish and several others had beef. There are better restaurants in the Valley. Service was good, not great.
