We went for lunch and I had jambalaya and my husband had etouffe. Both were very good and nice and spicy. Service was very good. We will go back again.

We have eaten there 2 or 3 times and tried different things. All have been good. Friendly place. After moving to Ajijic have remained friends with people that we met there on night for dinner.

Do not bother. The food was without flavor. But the margaritas were good. The catfish was coated in a cornmeal paste that could not be cut with a knife and fork. I had to crack it open with the butt of the knife. The fish inside was not fresh. Completely inedible.

Great place to stop for a snack and a drink ! Nice waiters and ideal location ! Chicken satay and Marsala fries were absolutely delicious and gumbo was so tasty. Margaritas were perfect.

Enjoyed the food and friendly staff and chatting with owner. Gumbo and daily specials are very good. Get there early for daily specials. Justifiably popular venue. Nice atmosphere despite being located on the main road / carretera. Recommended.

I had the crab cakes that were average. My husband had oysters which he enjoyed. The service could be a little more attentive but ok for lunch.

This is a gringo hang out! All very haired tourists enjoying their food. We knew it would be good when we had to wait 4 a table. We were not disappointed. Get there b4 630pm or specials will be sold out. Medium range prices and good service.

Have been here many times and is a favourite in menu offerings but a recent visit was very disappointing. The service was as usual very good but some of their signature dishes were off. The shrimp étouffe seemed heavy and the drunken ribs had a cheaper cut that was tough dry and a great disappointment . There needs to be... More

You are dining right next to the street, but very good food. Very small place. We really like it and will be back.
