Nice lake view. The food and atmosphere was very good. Good service. Rustic and calm. It has a small door to enter through a wooden bridge that opens to the terrace restaurant. We had a good lunch experience.

Well worth a visit. It's a large restaurant owned by a very nice French lady that is always very friendly and helpful! Guaranteed a pleasant meal and very good for large groups or just the family popping out. The staff are more than happy to play around with the menu to please dietary requirements or fussy kids!

At their new location on the Costera (Fray Gregorio Jimenez de la Cuenca) 194, Los Veleros comes back with their great food and service but now with an exquisite view of the Valle de Bravo lake. Caroline and her husband, are the perfect hosts, greeting week-end locals and tourists with their French-Mexican style. My favorites: the Spanish snails, the sardines,... More

We went with a couple of friends and were served delicious food. I loved the mussels au vin blanc - don't get me wrong, it is not a French restaurant, but the French touch to the Mexican cuisine is of wonderful addition. Also the artichoke my husband had with mustard vinaigrette tasted wonderful - not to talk about the sirloin... More

Tonite at the recommendation of the Chocolate store and several others,we went to Los Veleros. It was an evening to remember. We were greeted by Caroline, a hospitable.owner of the restaurant. She is charming and helpful. I was having an allergy attack with no meds with me--she sent one of her wait staff to the drug store to get my... More

To be honest the place is gorgeous, but the service is really bad and all dishes are above price range and you get lousy horrible plates with no taste or looks and boy do you pay for it is really expensive for crappy food and bad service. My advice, save your money and eat beautiful amazing international cuisine at Soleado... More

We were in Valle for a week earlier this year, paragliding and vacationing, and ate at the best restaurants we could find in town (none are expensive by U.S. standards). We are frequent travelers who know and appreciate good food, especially good Mexican food. Los Veleros was recommended by our hotel (Meson del Viento--which is very good itself) and Los... More
