Great outdoor terraza. stick only to salads and focaccia. The pizzas are tasteless, and pasta no enjoyable at all. we were told in the hotel that quality has gone down in casa Italia-The service not good, brought drinks twice and main meal without the specifications we asked. Just have a drink and enjoy the focaccia with olive oil and garlic.

I dined here twice as I needed something different from Mexican food and I'm glad I found Casa Italia. The restaurant is charmingly decorated and has a cozy feel and they even play silent movies inside. The pasta dishes I ordered were absolutely delicious and just what I was wanted. The portions were good sized that I didn't leave feeling... More

The outdoor terraza it s very nice, chill and cozy. As for the food, pasta are ok but not super tasty. What s tasty is the focaccia with olive oil and garlic. Also we had gnocchis and those were delicious. We didn t try the pizzas, those may be tastier than pasta, who knows!

A very warm & cozy courtyard is the backdrop to the restaurant. Service was very good & decent prices for the location. Caprese salad and Focaccia both excellent. Pizzas and Pastas just very average, burnt pizza ends and scrambled egg Carbonara! Would not return except for the salad. Not the most understanding of chefs/ owners when it comes to hearing... The place is cozy and has atmosphere but like many Italian restaurants whose staff is Mexican and have little or NO experience actually in this environment....and apparently not enough training.....my waiter was a bit clueless but nice. The Fettuccine Alfredo was the most tasteless garbage I have ever had served to me. Lucky...I used spices on my table to make... More

This is an exceptional restaurant in all ways, ambiance, food and service and value. We ate here two nights. We had pastas, salads beers and a tequila for us$20 with tip. Charming inside and out.

This is a sweet, friendly, charmingly decorated little place with tasty food for reasonable prices. Great for a little romantic dinner and nicely located in a quiet spot, and yet easy to find. Portions are not very large, but were fine for me. Mr. could have eaten more.

First things first: - my spaghetti with tomato and basil were very good, cooked perfectly and with fresh and good tomato sauce. The pasta all'arrabbiata that my girlfriend took was overcooked but good for Mexican standards. - the restaurant is super nice, colorfull, with interesting design and art pieces and definitely one of the cutest places seen in Mexico. Things... More

Casa Italia can be found on the Candalaria square, opposite the hostel, and behind the children's playground. As it's two blocks off the main square, it's quieter and slightly cheaper. The restaurant is quaint and peaceful with a cute patio area with a water fountain, plants, and other lovely features. Staff are very nice and helpful. Service is attentive and... More
