I visited Jennie Wren's at 2:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon after a 45km mountain bike ride around the area. I was absolutely starving and ordered a toasted baguette sandwich as well as a cream tea. I'm sorry, but the standard of food is so, so poor...we're talking Asda value range here. The white baguette was such poor bread and just... More

We visited here for lunch on a Saturday. The tea room itself looks quite outdated and is a mismatch of furniture and decorations. A waitress came over after us waiting for 10 minutes, we both ordered a baguette. After waiting another 15 minutes. The food came out and I was quite disappointed. The baguettes were ones which you cook from... More

Friendly staff/ owners and lovely home made fare. Would go again and will recommend. Was surprised that they closed at 3pm and arriving at 2.30 we just made it in time.

This is a great little cafe/tea room in Winslow, we often have a takeaway breakfast from them but had a sit down breakfast on Saturday it was delicious and brilliant value. Lunch is also good. Thanks Jenny Wrens

Stopped in here for a cream tea on Bank Holiday Monday. Very friendly staff. A large pot of Earl grey and two cream teas for under £10. The scones were warm and tasty with a generous serving of jam and cream.

This is a friendly Tea Room with a wide choice of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, ploughmans' as well as eggs on toast, cheese on toast, etc. There's a choice of hot and cold drinks and various sweets and homemade cakes. The food was enjoyable but it's all produced in a tiny kitchen which can result in a longish wait if it's... More

The food wasn't too bad, but the tablecloth, the area around the window and the cloakroom was really grubby. The whole place looked tired and need of a smarten-up.

I have eaten breakfast at Jennie Wren's twice in the last year and have found it friendly and pleasant on both occasions. Food and drink are traditional and unambitious but of a good standard. Overall, there's a homelike feel about the place and, some mornings, it's just what you're looking for.

Came in for a breakfast meeting with my parents. It was relatively busy. There could have been some quiet music on in the background, as many people were solo eaters or just very quiet in the morning, it was as if our whole meeting could be overheard. Although not the fault of Jennie wrens... A father came in with his... More
