2nd time we've been in two weeks and we both found it to be uncomfortably awkward. For a hospitality business I believe the staff need more training. Assuming they have had some. Not my cup of tea if I'm honestMore

As there are no specific details of what you were unhappy about, I am unable to use anything in our staff training. It takes a great deal of effort for me to train my staff and for my staff to learn to be able to...More

Visited here today for my mum's birthday, such a lovely Afternoon Tea! The sandwiches were lovely and so fresh, the bread was amazing and nice that they were without extra fillings. Ham, egg mayo, potted beef and cream cheese with cucumber, perfect for us! The...More

You are the first person in 11 years to call our sandwiches boring! Our fillings are far from cheap, especially the home made potted beef which the vast majority of people rave about and purchase. Ham is from our local butchers and again many of...More

We visited with my mother in a wheelchair. One part of the tearooms was accessible but it was difficult to manoeuvre and position the wheelchair in limited space available. Perhaps things have changed?

Description
An award winning farm shop and tea room, situated in a beautiful countryside location, just off A49 holiday route and close to both the Trent & Mersey Canal and River Weaver. Seating up to 45 within three sections, which are themed around local author Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, with additional seating within their tea garden. On site a long established florist, a flower and plant nursery, beauty barn, a furniture and gift shop and a small variety of rare breed animals. Thirty-five loose leaf teas and two pages of artisan coffees, delicious home-made cakes and a good selection of delicious home-made light lunches, not to mention the award winning Afternoon Teas they specialise in, all make a visit very special. It can be very busy, therefore booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. This establishment operates an in-house customer comment card system and monitors feedback. They respectfully request customers to contact them directly should there be any areas where they could improve.
