Had a very enjoyable meal with some fantastic courses. Both the seared beef and gin/salmon starters were amazing flavour and the lamb and stuffed chicken mains were beautiful. All washed down with bubbles and white wine made a lovely visit. This really was a very...More

Visited Bacchus for the first time this weekend and very nice too. Lovely friendly staff, crisp white linen and cutlery polished to within an inch of its life. Very appealing set menu for £29.95? With lots of variety or the al a carte menu. All...More

An good evening, which was enjoyed by our critical French guests last week. Good ambiance. Not empty and not crowded.

Bacchus is a bit of an institution, and rightly so. Often busy, as it does food and wine well, and the service is good. Quiet when we were there, but it was a midweek evening after the bank holiday weekend. They are suffering a bit...More
