For a pub in such a prime location.....The Ship Inn is such a disappointment. It was a cold day in January when went. The pub was cold, no cosy fire burning. The food was adequate but expensive for what it was. The staff seemed disorganised...More

Great pub with views of the estuary. Seven of us in a full restaurant of pensioners. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. All dishes terrific. I didn't have it but fish, chips and peas was the highlight dish.

Additional note to my previous review. It may be advisable, especially for a large party, to book a table in advance as it can get busy, (guess that says it all eh?) as it is very popular. Wonderful food with a great variety of dishes,...More

Sorry, don't know. I haven't been in for some years. The system is poor as it doesn't allow a date of more than a year earlier from the review. I am not interested in Sky TV anyway!
