Lovely breakfast had by the four of us, all tasty and subtly different. It's a busy place even on a Friday, so you might need to call in and ask for a table reservation and leave your phone number, as we did. Big window frontage onto the market hill, and the only thing to spoil the ambience it is the... More

No room for the 4 of us at lunchtime so owners offered to ring our mobile whilst we continued to browse the shops. We then returned to a convenient reserved table. A nice touch. Food is always gorgeous here, freshly prepared & yummy. The gluten free cream teas are the best - fact

Tried to get a drink here, but the lines were too long. Found their bathrooms had a shorter line fortunately though and provided much needed relief.

Always warm , and lovely interior and extensive lists of delicious home made food. Service is always prompt and friendly with the minimum of fuss. My favourite place to eat in Ashbourne. Has outside tables too.

We were so pleased to find such a lovely cafe where we could warm up with our cocker spaniel. Good coffee and excellent cake, chocolate and lime! The menu looked really good for snacks and lunch, staff really friendly. Cafe is small so I would imagine it gets very busy at peak times. Definitely would revisit if visiting the area... More

WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I would travel to Ashbourne just to eat the breakfast again! What a wonderful cafe........fresh local produce, warm, welcoming, friendly, there was nothing to not like! The daily menu also looks brilliant and this will definitely be on my 'must go to' list when I stay in Ashbourne again! Try this place.....it's wonderful!

Lovely little place, the staff were very warm and welcoming and the food was excellent! Thick fresh toast, thick bacon, yummy sausages, eggs, black pudding etc etc with lovely coffees and Lucius milkshakes. We went back for breakfast several times and were never disappointed. Well recommended.

This is a super little cafe, well worth a visit. Although it looks a little 'twee' from the outside, it's offerings are suitably tasty and hearty. The 'small' breakfast was very good, with nice warm tea (in a china teapot, with a cosy!). Nice ambience too, and the two young ladies serving were very friendly and efficient. All in all,... More

The service and food was great this morning, I would have given five stars but I could not believe my eyes when a group of people came in with a dog. Surely it's not very hygienic to allow animals in a cafe where food is being served.

We were attracted by the quaint look of this cafe and we're also impressed by their adverts for many dietary requirements, even though we don't need them ourselves. When we went in, there was only one table free but it still had dirty pots on it. After a few minutes a waitress did come to clear it and wiped the... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you had a bad experience at our cafe, however, it is clearly written in bold letters on the menu and on numerous blackboards around the cafe that you are to place your order at the till. At busier times we find its impossible to keep tabs on the tables to run a... More
