I real gem of a pub, many drinking areas, this is a real traditional pub, well worth a visit. Great beer, did not try the bar snacks, but looked good.

The Holly Bush has always been one of my favourite pubs to walk to for a few refreshing pints and a bite to eat, especially during the summer months. My only fault with the place is that you can be waiting a fair while at the bar to be serviced.

we were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to go for a walk and found the Holly Bush Inn. We spent the afternoon there as it was such a lovely day. We had a few drinks here and also a couple of pork pies which were excellent.

The pub is very traditional with a number of rooms to choose from. The choice of beers is excellent and the food very good. It has open fires and is very cosy. Being a traditional pub there are no TVs and no music, absolute heaven. There was just the chatter of people enjoying themselves. The conservatory is interestingly decorated with... More

*Had drinks in bar area first - it felt like being in a church. Although it was full in there, it was deathly silent and felt like everyone was earwigging on our conversation. Most uncomfortable. *Girl behind bar who served us was curt and unfriendly. *Although we'd pre-booked, we still had to wait nearly an hour to be taken to... More

A warm welcome awaits you at our family run pub, a hub for real ale drinkers and walkers alike. A traditional 17th century village inn, where highwayman Dick Turpin is reported to have frequented on his travels. An increasingly rare breed of unspoilt inn, where time has stood still, encapsulating the character and charm of the building. With fresh homecooked food, a selection of fine real ales and warmth from the open fires, there is much to tempt you. Nothing comes close to our pork pie and a pint!
