We tried to eat at this pub on the Thursday night however they weren't open with no notice as to why. Being generous we went back on the Friday night. The food was OK, perfectly edible but nothing special. I know we have been spoils by the places we have eaten in other places there was just something OK about... More

Stayed here for one night never again,. Stayed in the front room and it was filthy loads of dust and cobwebs in the room, skirting boards needed painted and it smelt. The breakfast was cold and the sausages were disputing, mother waitress looked dirty too. My advice is never to stay here. Good points the young men behind the bar were... More

Very busy pub serving lunches and light snacks. We shared a baguette as they are very large, albeit a little tasteless. Staff are efficient but cool, but on the up side of this pub they are dog friendly. Little more to say except our snack was adequate.

Myself and my husband fancied a lovely bite to eat at lunchtime. Lovely food would highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere and they accept dogs inside.

We were quite late in ordering at this pub, but although some of the items on the menu were missing, the alternatives were tasty, and ample (huge). Dogs were welcome here which is a great bonus

We haven't eaten here because the place looked ran into the ground by disgruntled management/owners. Drinks - double vodka, Coke - £6.20. Are we in London!? They don't charge for a mixer, rather a full soft drink to mix it with. If I was in anywhere but where I was - I'd have paid it but the setting didn't warrant... More

We've stayed at the George Inn a couple of times in the last few months. The staff have always been very helpful, even though we've arrived late on both occasions. The accommodation is a little dated but very good value for money. The food we've had has been excellent and plenty of it, just what you need after a hard... More
