What it says on the tin - £6 for chicken chips and a pint, you can't go wrong. I've eaten the specials in here four nights a week on some occasions, and it is always a great bolthole when you can't be bothered cooking.

We go every week for Steak Night and it's a typical Wetherspoons. Can't argue with the prices, some weeks the food can be very good and some weeks it can be below average- but all in all not bad for a cheap and cheerful meal.

Due to being unable to go upstairs to the toilet due to health issues I was sent to the disabled toilet. On entering, the toilet seat was raised and the surrounding floor was wet with urine. When putting the toilet seat down i found dry excrement stuck to the back of the toilet seat. I told the bar tender about... More

A nice friendly pub. Staff work really hard and keep a tight ship. Never had a bad visit here at any time of day.

Live locally and go fairly regularly as it's a cheap and cheerful night out. It's a wetherspoons chain pub but in fairness to them the young staff are generally very friendly and up for having a laugh, the drinks are (as in every Wetherspoons) cheap but decent brands as they do follow trends. Food is very good value and verges... More

This is a Wetherspoons pub. The food is supplied from the standard menu and is usually cooked quite well. The surroundings are very basic in both clientele and seating areas....

We picked this particular Spoons out as part of the way home between a day out in Market Bosworth's Battlefield Line heading back to North Notts on the A38. And keeping the rail theme going, The Sir Nigel Gresley was just about on the route home. Ideal then for stop for a Sunday Lunch of sorts and to tick off... More
