Food wasn't too bad although they seemed very short staffed. The waitress did her best to look after us.

Food good as ever. Try the prawn&chorizo starter very tasty, good choice on menu and beers. Lovely big garden, been a few times and will return soon.
An excellent dining experience.All our food was delicious, well presented and delivered by friendly staff.There is a good menu choice and they were more than happy to cater for children. We would certainly return.
We enjoyed a lovely meal. Portions were good and quality excellent. My wife loved the gruyere beer croquttes and the butternut quash/goats cheese burger and my rump steak and stilton salad was really tasty. Very nice evening and really friendly staff.
Passing through, tried many other pubs in the town but were all fully booked on a Thursday. Took a chance, rewarded with good pub grub. Small menu but Hunters Chicken, Chicken and beef burgers were really good. Chicken Caesar salad - really good better than...More
Nice setting, lots of parking, open convenient times, good chefs. Wish the menu would change though - have been visiting for years and bit bored with the same choices.
