Great coffee in a friendly cafe with spectacular views over Bowen and over the ocean. Staff are always friendly and food is well presented and there is added interest for the history buffs as Bowen's past is well displayed.

A must visit when in Bowen. As the name suggests you get a 360 view of the entire Bowen area. From Abbott point with the coal ships waiting to be loaded over to Gloucester Island and all the other islands in the area.. You see the entire town of Bowen and its surrounds. There is also a cafe to enjoy... More

Was on a day trip down from Townsville and drove up to Flagstaff Hill to enjoy the fantastic views. Staff were closing the cafe doors as we approached for an afternoon coffee at 3-20pm and we noticed as we drove off that the sign in the car park says it was supposed to be open until 4pm. Staff must have... More

Our sincere apologies Annieco1. Our staff have been instructed that if business is slack, they are to close up early. It is not usual business for us to do that, but being the summer season, business is slow. We run the cafe as a not for profit training facility and is not government funded supported, so if there is no... More

We were told to come and have a look up on the hill. What a surprise looking over Bowen and surrounding areas fantastic area and the café was another surprise. Lunch was cheap and coffee yummy and to sit there and look over the view was great

I hate writing poor reviews, but on this ocassion, I must break my usual practice We visited this cafe just for coffee, but what we got, at very high price, was the worst, most undrinkable coffee either of us had ever tasted. Not helped at all by the fact that when I opened the jar for a little sugar, it... More

This is one of the best lookouts with a 360 degree view and a cafe - a definate must when passing through but don't forget the other one near the water tower not fancy but able to see Bowen from different perspective
