The food at Salvation Army soup kitchens leaves this place for dead. Just a really disappointing meal. The spring rolls were OK..probably brought in frozen..Found out since that not many locals will eat there.

Take away is reasonably price but it's certainly not the best i've eaten. The curry puff in the mixed entree is very tasty and the mixed entree is cheap and very good.

Walked past this place to check out its menu/digs at 2pm and decided it looked good. that night the food was distinctive compared to standard cheap Chinese food. The entrees were small but tasty. King Prawns in honey were very tasty and well made. Duck/Plum was the surprise; the sauce was light brown and sour; terrific with Pinot Noir. The... More

We had a very enjoyable meal at this little restaurant. We complimented the chef as we haven't been able to get Chinese of a similar quality on the south side of Brisbane. The owner was happy to allow us to have the banquet even though it said a minimum of 3 people. The food tasted fresh and the meat in... More

We dined here when we were looking for a quick bite and thought the local Chinese would provide that. We weren't prepared for such tasty food. The lemon duck was really crisp you and cooked to perfection. I thought the lemon sauce could have been a bit more tangy though. the garlic fish was delicious too and the vegetables were... More

The Pearl Garden is a pleasant Chinese Restaurant offering mid priced Chinese food. Pricing is higher than average and service is horrific . The waitress whilst very pleasant appeared to have no ideas on how to ply her trade. Food service was very slow . Not my first choice to eat Asian in the area.....

What a quaint restaurant serving all your favourites. The service was friendly & fast. Food was as you would expect with the honey prawns and Mongolian lamb being our favourites. It is excellent value but we did find some of the serving sizes small, particularly the fried rice. The best thing was it is the first Chinese I have visited... More
