Much better now the new owners taken over. Fast delivery. Tasty, and so affordable. Drive to Mossman... Only 15 minutes from Port Douglas, Best Chinese in the region!

We stopped off here for dinner and while it may have lacked atmosphere (seriously bright lights and white walls) the food was really tasty and the waitress was possibly the most friendly person in the world. We ordered steamed dim sims, which were good, and the special 'shandy' which was two prawn cutlets, rice, sweet and sour pork and chicken... More

Dropped into Chung Tai last night after netball for a takeaway, haven't been there for years since the previous owner. Ordered the Dumpling Soup off the Specials list, it was the best, the broth beautifully flavoured and obviously home made, tender crisp veges and tasty dumplings, my husband ordered the Combination Soup which again was filled with quality meat and... We were craving for a noodle dish, so we ordered fried noodles, what we got was something that looked liked kiln dried noodles. Because we were hungry we ate it, but it was simply not good. The shrimps I had to go along with and the chicken my friend had were acceptable, but nothing to walk a mile for.

We had takeaway Chinese and took it back to our Motel which was just around the corner. The service was good and the meals we had were lovely. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

We walked down from our Motel and were the only diners one Sunday evening, though takeaway custom was booming. Our dish, which we shared, was more than enough for the two of us and was very good. THe lady who served was friendly and helpful as well as being very efficient. Definitely a spot to return to.
