Visiting on a Sunday for lunch on my wife's birthday, with our adult children/partners We all settled on the three course option, and we can certainly say none of our party of 7 were disappointed, food was well executed, the service generous, friendly and not overbearing with a great atmosphere, we will return when it is a bit warmer to sit... Our first visit but won't be our last. A lunch time visit in picturesque vineyard surroundings. New/Old World feel in the 'shed' with plenty of room between tables. The meal was well balanced which allowed us to enjoy the complimentary dishes as well as the three courses that followed. All six diners enjoyed their respective contemporary meals. The produce was... More

Set under autumn coloured grape vines overlooking green lawn with some 20 heavily laden lime trees intermingled & more vineyards beyond that as a further backdrop. Bit cool to sit outside on our visit, so opted for nice warm window seat inside. Service was the best I've experienced with waitresses explaining menu items in detail to us and providing terrific... Have been wanting to go here for a while, a rainy day amongst the vines....perfect. If the amuse bouche were anything to go on we were in for a treat. And what a treat it was, everything was so good, staff were great but oh the food absolutely wonderful, make the effort to visit you won't be disappointed.

Boys away, girls will play!! Opportunity to catch up with my bestie for a lovely tasty lunch . Service was great, the waitress knew the menu beautifully and described the meals superbly. Opted for the 2 menu selection, thinking desert may be an option, but ended up not having as was too full. Lots of complimentary tasty nibbles along the... More

Thank you Currant Shed! We thoroughly enjoyed our two course meals ($55) with a bottle of the local Sauvignon Blanc, which was crisp and fresh. We dined on rare kangaroo with burnt cos, garlic sauce and fresh tomatoes; chicken with mandarin, grains and green tomato; brisket with black lentils and saltbush; and a fantastic lime tart with coconut sorbet and... We had lunch here on Friday - it was gorgeous. We had a choice of either 2 or 3 courses. Although we only ordered the 2 courses we were inundated with tasty additional delights - oysters, a platter of anchovies, homemade bread rolls with delicious salted butter - even nougat after our dessert! The meal was delicious, everything was beautifully... More

What an excellent venue for a Sunday lunch for a group of 15. We had organised to use the private dining room which was a treat & recommended for a large group. The staff were friendly & efficient. The food was superb, a credit to the chef & her team in the kitchen. A bonus was that she took the... More
