Bob Evans has always been a favorite of mine. I've never had bad service and the food is, well, very consistent. Like many chain restaurants I'm sure the service and food vary according to manager and staff. I've eaten at them all over Ohio and when I'm just craving some home cooking this is the place. Don't expect some fancy... More

According to recent business news reports, Bob Evans says that sales are down on a "same store basis" and that sales during the dinner hour, in particular, are down. Management attributes the decline in sales to the economy and says that people just aren't spending money to eat out. Well -- if Bob Evans management really wants to know why... More

A large group of family went to Bob Evans. Atmosphere was nice, they put three tables together to accommodate us. Our waitress was Vivian and she was awesome! Very friendly, great sense of humor. She took our orders promptly and served us quickly and professionally. She handled a wrong order very nicely. The food was tasty and hot, everyone was... More

My family was visiting our mother who lives at Wesley Glen. We decided to go to Bob Evans for the evening meal. The meal was prepared as ordered and was very delicious. There was a large number in our party and the service was great and timely. I would strongly recommend this fine eating establishment.

Second visit in a row with bad service. Food was average at best and took forever. After 43 minutes I told them we were leaving if we didn't have our food in 5 minutes. The table beside us had turned over twice in our one sitting.

I ordered the Chicken and Noodles Dinner. Is it odd that I expected some chicken? Instead I ended up carbo loading with bland but over salted sauce (chicken?), gluey noodles, over unnaturally white mashed potatoes, all a top a broken biscuit. Oh dear. There were 3 pieces of chicken, all total filling the volume of a pair of dice. My... More

I have had experience with a few Bob Evan's diners - all are kind of average except this one. The service is brilliant, the food is excellent and good atmosphere. I was accompanied by several friends and colleagues all who turned their nose up at Bob Evans yet all were surprised having had bad experiences elsewhere. Thumbs up with this... More

Our server treated us like family. He joked around with us, he acted like we were best friends and he was very honest about the food and why the service was off. The food came fast but out of order (main then salad) which he promptly apologized. Our server makes this Bob Evans one of the best Bobs I've eaten... More
