This is a hidden gem on High St that has a cute back patio covered with a trellis and is very unassuming. I have been there 4 times, only in nice weather, but i have enjoyed it each time. The server will ask you if u have any food allergies and then the chef makes you whatever he desires. I... More

Please do not waste your time at this restaurant. We used to come here when Carlos Borja owned and ran it so we thought we would give it a try with the new ownership. When we came in it was raining and the chef Will seated us outside and said we would be covered if it rained and when we... More

If you want a menu or a variety of entrees to choose from, this is NOT your place. I know these guys want to be known for their food and not their atmosphere, but having a bathroom that didn't make me want to wretch would have been nice. Our only choice for the entree was eggplant or chicken parm, that's... More

I stopped there for dinner yesterday because I heard he had fresh mushrooms. We walked in and were seated. Waited came and gave us a pizza primo. Then he returned with a salad course. Followed by a platter of home made noodles in a creamy sauce with chanterelles, and 6 pcs of chicken. And then a platter with sliced apples... More

You might not expect much when you walk into this unassuming hole-in-the-wall. It could use a decorator but we go out to eat for the food and the company. If you didn't know ahead of time what kind of place this is, then you might be taken aback. You can request vegan or vegetarian but pretty much you go and... More

We were taken here by friends in Columbus that go almost every weekend. This is NOT a chain restaurant and they are NOT trying to resemble one. It's refreshing. The owner/ chef buys ingredients from farmers markets and grows his own herbs... He even has a small aquaponics set up in the dining room. The menu is not set, nor... More

I am not trying to be mean-spirited, but dinner was, at least in memory, the worst meal I have experienced in Columbus. Our friends have visited the cafe several times, found the quaintness appealing, and the food often enjoyable. There are, I agree, some pleasant plusses, beyond being able to bring in a bottle of wine; this is an obviously... More

We have eaten here many times and had the pleasure of getting some food catered for our wedding back in 2011. We have come here as a couple on romantic dates, come with friends, and come with family. We love it! There are no menus- the food is made up after you arrive. There has not been one meal that... More

I gave Cafe Bella advance notice and then descended upon them with 35 hungry and Italian-oriented foodies. Everyone was amazed at the variety and quality of the food. I swear the salade was picked minutes prior. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The eggplant parmigiana was crisp. The vegetable contorni we flavorful. The meat dishes were rich and the fritta...
