We almost missed the place(thank goodness for GPS), The crepes were amazing...sinfully lovely actually, Be sure to get some pastries to go! They are to die for !!!!! The food wasn't cheap but I don't mind paying extra for something THAT good.

This is an amazing place to get a truly homemade meal by chefs. They fly fresh fish in and purchase many food items locally. Organic coffee. Great choices. Nice atmosphere. The only down side would be since this is also a FRESH bakery, yum, with fresh daily made chocolate croissant and game cheese croissants... they do not have too many... More

This is an excellent restaurant, you would expect to find this in other more cosmopolitan cities....but I am not complaining. The food is rich, European (German in particular) dishes made with local fresh ingredients. The service is always good. I love breakfast in particular, but we come for lunch and dinner as well. Try something outside of your comfort zone.

This morning we tried the Boeuf Bourguignon and I think it was one of the best things that I've eaten at the Blue Door although all of your food is absolutely wonderful. I have tried to make it on my own several times and although it was pretty good this experience was exquisite. I had no problem consuming this hearty... More

Crepes were very doughy. Coffee was good which helps. Not running back. Menu a bit pricey. Over the top sugary

It was an awesome visit. Everyone was upbeat and friendly. I loved the variety of menu items. I really wanted to taste it all. I did try the bacon and egg croissant. It was huge, with avocado and bacon. It was delicious. The organic coffee was very good just drinking it black. The other guest around me talked highly of their... More

I had the special pork belly with fingerlings, bacon,, beats with 2 eggs on top. Also a salad. I thought it was excellent, but not cheap. My husband had the hash, and found it OK, but very salty. The main selling point is the all organic, free range, blah, blah, blah. But we really didn't care about that. Husbands muffin... More

Homemade pastries and bread are excellent and large serving sizes. A croissant is at least 6 inches long and 4 inches tall! The dining menu can be hit or miss in terms of portion size, but everything is delicious and cooked with local ingredients. The chefs come up with great new dishes every week.

The food at this little cafe is good. It's tasty and well prepared. However, you are paying way too much for what you get. Service is spotty at times and it's a little loud when it's busy but you can still have a unique meal here just make sure you are ready for sticker shock.
