Visited The King's Arms for their tapas special on a Thursday. I ordered the chorizo, lamb meatballs and fried Brie. I wasn't impressed with any of the food. The chorizo was overpowering and the meatballs were bland. The service was good apart from the 15minute wait for our drinks order. The lady behind the bar was very friendly. There is... More

It is a bit of a pity, because this really is a nice place, with great service, and good food, but people dont like the feeling of paying way over the odds for things, so, do customers return, probably not which maybe the reason they feel thay have to make over 1000% on a bottle of wine ( that figure... I rang the Kings Arms to book a table in the restaurant. The restaurant is situated in another building at the back of the pub called the copper horse. Not sure how long this has been open but looks new. Decor lovely. Welcoming staff. The kitchen can be viewed from the restaurant. It's run by 2 young lads and a... More

We had a lovely meal in the restaurant at the Kings Arms. The restaurant is located to the rear of the main pub and with adjoining cocktail bar is quirky but fun. Food was very good with generous portions and our waitress was friendly and attentive. A great addition to eating out in Swaffham. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I were staying in Swaffham for the weekend and had pre-booked to go to The Copper Horse for dinner. We were taken through to the cocktail bar area where we were able to enjoy some pre dinner drinks while browsing the menu. The cocktail menu was very good and service in this area exceptional. We were given... More

Been in a few times now and each time has gone gradually down hill - people with us have commented the same. Charge way too much for the quality of food being served. £30 for a bottle of £6 Prosecco! Never good being served by someone who's just been smoking either - rotten eggs comes to mind..

We've recently moved here and thought we'd try this venue. It is very nice and beautiful building. Decor is lovely and really looks like the place is very well loved. The bar is fab. We've eaten a few times and the food is excellent, brilliant service. There is a cocktail bar which is also good. The gingerbread martini is to... More

We took my mother-in-law for a birthday meal at the King's Arms last night and ate in the restaurant. We began the evening with a cocktail in their new cocktail bar which was great fun. The food was absolutely delicious, we could only manage a starter and main course so didn't try the puddings. My husband and I had the... More

The Kings Arms Coaching Inn opened on the 17th December 2014 and we have been welcoming customers to the fully refurbished Kings Arms Coaching Inn ever since. We serve homemade cakes, sandwiches, lunches and afternoon teas in the daytime and later serving delicious evening meals. We have a Georgian styled Ballroom with chandeliers available for hire. Our events include our monthly Live Music Jazz and Folk nights. Our first event, Burns Night was a great success and we look forward to many more. Since then we have had many parties and events in the Function Room - all have been a great evening. The Copper Horse Restaurant is open on a Friday & Saturday evening from 6pm. This is a different menu to our bar menu and we like to consider it a Relaxed Fine Dining Experience. The Copper Horse Cocktail bar is also open from 6pm on a Friday & Saturday - offering some amazing cocktails. We won the award of Best New Food and Drink Venture in Norfolk, of which we are exceedingly proud. We look forward to meeting you soon and welcoming you to our Inn here in Swaffham.
