Seven of us came on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. The Restaurant was very busy but the food was served very quickly by the polite and helpful staff. Very good food at a reasonable price. Very good family meal enjoyed by all,

Nice pub, great location & good beer, why only 3 stars? I had the worst fish I've ever had, it was inedible. When the waiter took the plates and asked if everything was alright I told him, "oh I can see that" was his reply on looking at the fish (batter fried Plaice) and that was the last we heard,... My husband and I made a special journey to try the Harbour Inn after reading reviews. He is a wheelchair user so not the best start with steps access. However 2 patrons helped us in and that's where the helpfulness ended. A member of staff informed us no tables were free, there was no space in the bar and no... More

Basically a good pub for drinkers and standard pub food. Drinks a little expensive. Nice atmosphere when they don't let the wood burner go out

I have been coming here since 1997, and a visit to Southwold has to involve this amazing pub in some form. This visit - twice. Both for amazing fish lunches, the plaice is to die for, so fresh and well cooked. A pint of Adnams overlooking the Blackshore is one of my favourite places in the world to be. Go!

You can't visit southwold without a walk to the harbour inn. Lots of fish dishes to try. Dog friendly homely and cosy. Will be back soon.

A fifteen minute walk from Southwold helps to build a thirst which the Harbour Inn will help to quench with their selection of Adnam's beers. Plenty of nooks and crannies inside, and seating both front and back outside, so that you can either enjoy the sunshine, or protect yourself from the wind!

Everytime we visit Southwold, no trip to the Harbour is complete without a visit to the Harbour Inn. We often sit outside in the rear beer garden in the sunshine with a glass of Adnams. We've never tried the food, but it always looks lovely.
