Dropped in by chances again a pub that allows dog's in the bar area. Really good food at lunch time the four of us were fed well, good menu reasonably priced, good service. This pub excels in service and good food a hearty recommendation.

We were staying in a local hotel and was getting very tired of the restaurant we'd been using. So just on the off chance I looked up some local establishments and came across this place. I'm so glad we did. When we got there the outside looked a little tired but to be fair it was pitch black outside. The... More

This visit was just as good, 3 of us had a brie starter which we all said was delicious and fresh. Followed by pork loin, lasange and bbq chicken all huge portions. Service was brilliant and with the fire... More

Phoned to reserve table for 4 (10 minutes notice) and drove the few minutes to car park at rear. When we arrived we... More

Regularly went here every Sunday for a very long time as the roast dinners were always amazing, portions large, well cooked and value for money. Over the last few months we've been trying out some different places for Sunday lunch as there are so many country pubs around, but we've come back to the Black Horse. We've just never found... We stayed for 3 nights at Crowhurst Park in a cabin and walked over to this pub on Fri night and had lasagne, which was delicious. Went back Saturday evening with friends, one who is gluten intolerant and the staff were very helpful with her special requirements. Sunday we had roast dinners and again delicious home cooked food and lovely... More
