Eat here fairly regularly & it never disappoints. Friendly & attentive staff. Good range of choice on the menu, though I always order the same spaghetti dish!! Yummy ice cream sundaes. Excellent value for money. Can't go wrong.

Over 2 years ago last February we tried this establishment for the first time and vowed never to return because it was so cold as the CH had failed! The food was good but eating with coats on was not what we expected. This time was different. It was warm and welcoming. My carbonara was lovely and the puttanesca delicious.... More

Went in for a quick bite. We asked before we sat down how long it would take to prepare our food as we were in a rush and we were told they could cook it quickly. They couldn't - took a while to take our order - we called them over in the end. Ordered paninis, which shouldn't take long.... More

Friendly, polite, attentive staff. Not at all intrusive. The restaurant is simply furnished in a way that blends with the atmosphere of Battle. A good selection of Italian wines and a comprehensive but not too large Menu. Good for families in the early evening.

went here for a pizza after visiting the abbey and battle field, I'm not usually a big pizza fan tut my son wanted to go. In reality one of the best pizzas I have had really nicely made and much better than your usual 'chain' fare and well priced

We have been eating at SI Battle ever since it opened many, many years ago. During that time the restaurant has had a succession of wonderful Italian and Czech staff who became our friends over time. More recently staff changes have resulted in the place becoming a little less welcoming although my wife and I still pop in now and... More

Had a lovely, reasonably priced lunch after visiting nearby Battle Abbey. Between our group we had a pizza, calzone and a chicken dish. Everything very tasty and good friendly service.
