Been here briefly last year but went there for an early evening meal with children. Not a huge choice but nice enough food with lovely service. Clean and comfortable. No baby changing facilities in the toilets.

It’s a super pub with nice menu, friendly staff and all you need for a lunch time stop. Oh and there is Harveys beer. Can’t fault that. Priced at the high end of Ok, but you get what you pay for.

This pub does great Sunday roasts, a large part of the menu looks homemade in style. The pub is dog friendly and allows dogs inside. Free wifi is available. No sign of disabled toilet but public one is next door Beer garden.

Very good food. I loved the Sussex Smokie and have had it many times since. The roasts are also very good too and all reasonably priced.

Hi, doyou have anything vegan on your menu?
20 April 2017|
Response from Debby F | Property representative |
Yes, we have 3 starters that are vegan, plus 1 main dish which is a Vegetable Tagine (homemade). I also have a falafel and spinach burger that can be served in a free from toasted bun instead of our usual brioche bun.
Are you dog friendly?

We are a traditional village pub opposite the historic Pevensey Castle. We have a large walled beer garden, with children's play area. Stop by and have a relaxing drink, light bite or full meal in our cosy restaurant or garden. Dogs and children welcome.
