We booked a night stay in Pevensey, staying at the Priory Court Hotel. We decided to try a local restaurant we could walk to. The Smugglers Inn was a meal and a half. The menu was amazing with all tastes being catered for. We went for the homemade pies which were huge. My wife went for the bannoffee pie pudding... More

We had a lovely meal at the smugglers after a long walk. It was for my birthday and we were quite a large party of 15, including a large number of children. The meal was lovely, service excellent and was a perfect end to a perfect day, thankyou! Vicki

I have eaten here many, many times over the space of a few years. The food is great, the service is very friendly and you get what you expect from this sort of atmosphere.

Quaint old pub with a homely bar and large restaurant. A good selection of beers, mainly Shepherd Neame. Good, well cooked food at a good price. Nice garden with play area for kids

We had a Sunday family meal today 4 people, the food was excellent and served quickly despite the pub being very busy. The staff worked so very hard to ensure that we had a good experience. recommended to families with elderly relatives as the access is easy with no steps. the atmosphere was warming and overall very friendly.
