Really friendly atmosphere. Staff really on top of everything and courteous. Good honest pub food. My husband had sausage and mash and I had steak pie. Both were delicious. Would come again if I’m the area

We enjoyed a delicious mid-week lunch here where the staff were friendly and the food was very good. My idea of a traditional English pub lunch! Excellent menu with tempting specials.

This is a lovely pub built early 1500s and set in the pretty Conservation Area hamlet of Cousley Wood. We particularly enjoy the roaring fires and generous portions of Sunday roasts after an autumnal walk down to scenic Bewl Water. I'm writing a review as...More
