Had a really nice Eggs Benedict here - just what was needed after a heavy night out in Manchester! The coffee was excellent too (mine was a macchiato, highly recommended). They has several screens showing various different sports - perfect. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

We went for a pre-theatre meal and could not fault the restaurant. The food was really tasty, with a good variety on the menu; service was excellent and the staff very attentive. They were very helpful. The location is great for Salford Quays, Media City and the Lowry - and only a 5 minute walk from Media City tram stop.... More

Late lunch after the theatre at the Lowry. Shared an Oriental Starter Platter (nice) and then each had standard grub (fish n chips for girlfriend; burger for me - both also nice). It's a large restaurant - we were sat in a circular booth that could comfortably seat 6. Staff were friendly but the waitress didn't know anything at all... More

Popped into Lime after a Matinee performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Lowry with my wife and 9 year old daughter. Had checked reviews and had already decided this was the place to go. New straight away we had chosen wisely as the ambience felt relaxed and friendly. I had the Lamb Tagine and my wife took advantage... More

We had booked a meal for New Years Eve after the Man Utd game and called in at lunchtime just to confirm the booking.Pre match the restaurant and bar areas were full of fans and we thought that perhaps it would be a bit rowdy after the game and spoil the evening. We should never have worried, it was busy not... Great atmosphere. Booked for New Years Eve treat after Man U match. Was a great mix of people. Menu choices were good if a little expensive but had a very tasty meal - black pudding and bacon salad and a perfectly cooked filler steak accompanied by the best onion rings ever! Grace our waitress was fantastic but everyone looked after... More

My family enjoyed dinner here the night before a ManU match. Pleasant walk from the hotel area along the Quays. Modern decor, big screen (footie of course) and mini screen by each table! Good menu choices including healthy salad which I wish I'd had as my tandoori sea bass was too rich for me though tasty. My family enjoyed their... More

We had pre-booked a table for 6 people before visiting the theatre 29/12/16. On arrival at 5:00pm, and confirming there were 6 people, the waitress 'pointed' (not shown to) a table which was laid for 5 people. \We moved cutlery from an adjacent spare table, the waitress was dumb struck and couldn't understand 6 people and a table set for... What a lovely place this is! They have a very happy bunch of staff and their independence shines through - so much nicer than a chain restaurant. Had a two course meal with a pint and a G&T for £40. For main course I chose the Thursday steak special and it was the nicest sirloin I've had in a very... More

I have only visited the Lime as an away fan on match days at Old Trafford. It is always buzzing with a nice mix of home and away fans. There is a really friendly atmosphere and the beer and food are of a good quality - wish it was a bit nearer to OT on a rainy day?
