We called in for lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The choice of real ales was good, as was the choice of wines. We had a baguette to eat and it was very good, with plenty of filling. Well worth a visit.

The second time of visiting here this week and each time has been outstanding. The service, the food and surroundings just lovely. Brilliant location right at the bus terminus and beautiful Ringwood town around the corner.
This so called "pub" is a disgrace and I STRONGLY recommend that you take your money ELSEWHERE. There are MUCH better pubs situated within Ringwood and I can honestly say I have visit nearly all of them and this is without the WORST! Look at the other reviews on here, I am clearly NOT ALONE in thinking this is quite... More
We paid a couple of visits here while on holiday in the area recently and had some very nice meals on both visits. Staff are friendly enough and the beer is reasonably well kept but NEVER rely on this place for a meal. So off and on it unbelievable. Want beer? Go Want to watch a bit of sport? Go Want a meal in the evening? DONT GO

Nice place, staff are friendly - just doesn't stand out for me in anyway which is fine - it's a small town pub and has a good local feel. Think they do live music here, which I'd expect would throw more character into the place so maybe worth checking one of those nights!

During our shopping trip to Ringwood on Saturday 30th October we popped into The Furlong for a late lunch at approximately 3.00pm. We ordered two sandwiches and one portion of chips. The young woman who served us appeared to go out of her way to be unfriendly and she had an off-hand manner. A warm welcome and smile were definitely... More
