Found this cracking little Pub because of its excellent sign on the main A49 road, just a few hundred yards to the pub, we were on a tight schedule and needed a quick lunch, no problem here as the manageress quickly took our order of...More

Spent a weeks holiday nearby and this was our local - how lucky we were. Owners and locals alike were really friendly folks. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and beer and the quiz night was fun. Thanks to you all.

popped in for lunch and had a really tasty meal, served very quickly and efficiently. The pub has a good atmosphere and super staff.Thoroughly recommended. Must be good as they seem to be having their car park enlarged !

Visited once late Summer 2016. Classic country pub setting. Tasty roast dinner. Decent portions, well presented. Reasonably priced. Friendly but not over-attentive service. Overall, a very good experience. Would definitely return.

Avoid this pub if you're looking for a nice Sunday roast. The beef was chewy, the vegetables were mushy and watery, the potatoes were dry and the gravy was just brown flavourless water. Avoid!
