We were at the start of a 7 mile walk along the Swale River to Faversham and needed sustenance to get us there. It was the perfect place. We both had free range fried eggs with home baked ham and chips. I then had an amazing chocolate brownie with two raspberries and ice cream. My companion had apple crumble and... More

I have family who live in the village and are regulars at the Ship inn. So on a recent visit during Christmas week, our party of four walked down and had an evening meal. The menu was very appealing to both carnivores and vegetarians which makes a pleasant change, also there was a specials board offering more fantastic choice. Bar... More

Despite it being mid Christmas, they took our reservation and had a lovely table for us for my birthday lunch. Two adults, two kids and the full menu available. Beautiful pub, lovely location, great staff and excellent men. Special shout out for them treating kids like little people and not just offering Brakes Brothers worst as the kids menu. All... More

Ordered fish and chip and the fish was ok but the chips were like roast potatoes and where the fish was laid on them they were soggy and the peas were stone cold and two people I was with had a cold vegetable crumble and they had to take it away and bung it in the microwave.... Went to The Ship for Sunday lunch with friends. We all had roast beef and it was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of food and the service was good.

Came here for a family meal to commemorate a special occasion; there was a large group of us and they catered for us all amazingly. We all had the Sunday Lunch Roast which was delicious- the kid’s meals were great value and they loved the big Yorkshire puddings :-). My husband had the chilli cod kebabs as a starter which...
