Fabulous welcome and fresh cooked food with a menu that changes regularly. Their coffee is excellent and we visit just for their amazing and sticky millionaires shortbread! Great quality food and drink that won't break the bank. A special place- great for all visitors.

There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere to this cafe. I had a soya latte and chocolate brownie which was really rich and delicious. It is quite tucked away in Nelson Road, which makes it even more of a find.

If somewhere is this busy on a Friday morning, during term time it says a lot. We'd reserved a table which was a good move. Service was good, food superb, and they do proper pots of teat too!

Whilst not in the High Street, this place is worth hunting out as it has some of the most delicious cakes, really moist and flavoursome, and serves a really good coffee too. I found the staff particularly friendly and helpful, and very accommodating as nothing was a problem. Food was good and wholesome and the experience was a good one.... More

Popped in on advice of a local walker on a cold fresh winter's day - the soup was delicious with fantastic bread, and we rather over did it by also enjoying a wholesome homemade sausage roll. Friendly, snug and perfect for getting in to the warmth at lunchtime.

Went for a late Saturday lunch but still needed to reserve a table for 2:15. We both ordered from the specials menu and both meals were delicious with a substantial and well-balanced and dressed salad as accompaniment. Friendly staff and service. Very tasty and warming hot chocolate too.
