As we were coming to Whitstable we decided to book this having previously enjoyed ourselves here. 4 friends accompanied us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I'd recommend you try it. At about £40 per head for three courses it's not very expensive. Obviously it's quirkiness...More

Having not satisified our love of seafood at a neighbouring establishment the night before, a girlfriend and I headed to Wheelers for a late lunch. A great little place steeped in local history. Imagine a terrace house with the front room as a shop front...More

Went with my in-laws, sisters-in-law, husband, and 20-month-old. Pros Very creative and elaborated food -tuna tataki, crab cake, lobster lasagne, guilt head bream were fabulous -highlight was a chocolate fondant which wasn't even on the menu! They replaced the chocolate tart for it and we...More

Some dishes are so sublime that you don't look past them; the lobster ravioli at Wheelers is one. I now always have it. I also love that the oysters arrive simply with lemon, and without a bucketful of ice. The Redhead loved the Japanese take...More

Quirky, small restaurant which is well worth booking to ensure you get a table. Meze starter & crab cakes were delicious. Main courses were excellent too, and couldn't fault the puddings. BYO is easy with very handy off licence directly opposite. A Whitstable institution and...More

Unfortunatly, we hadn't booked in advance to get a table in the restaurant. However, we did sit at the bar before the busy lunch rush and were so pleased with the food. I ordered the food while my other half nipped accross the road to...More

Tiny, so given its (thoroughly deserved) popularity) advanced booking almost essential. Huge buffet selection of shellfish and other seafoods - the proprietor is quite happy to make up a sumptuous comprehensive mixed platter for you. Gourmet menu of cooked fish dishes. My excellent fish soup...More

Hi, It's about £40 per head there was 4 of us it's not bad price wise and the food is gorgeous. Hope this helps and remember you need to take your own alcohol as they do not sell it but there is an off licence opposite.
