We visited the Inn at Whitewell in February 2017. We have been many time as it is our favourite place to stay when needing piece and quiet, fab food and the most wonderful comfortable and spacious bedrooms. To us we feel its like coming home. Warm welcome, delicious wine, open fires lit to sit by following a long walk.

Stayed here one night for cousin's wedding last year. It really is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields and wood. Shortbread and tea was included with the room so we ordered that soon after arriving and it was good. The room was a nice size and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was fine.

My husband booked a surprise overnight stay here for my birthday, I wish we could have stayed longer! Had an amazing room, no 22 in the Coach House. We had lunch and a couple of pints in the bar prior to checking in, food was delicious! We also had a table booked for dinner, again the food was amazing! Beautiful... More

Beautiful place to visit and a lovely dining experience in fantastic surroundings. It's way off the track in a fabulous location, so you do need a sat nav. Extensive menu suitable for all tastes. Chose your own table -- fast service, lovely staff and excellent food at mid price range. Well worth a return visit. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your thoughts and I'm so pleased your sat nav didn't lead you a merry dance, they can do. Hope we'll see you again before too long. Regards Cb More

It's a while since our previous visit, but good to see that The Inn at Whitewell is still as good as ever. Bustling on a snowy, cold Sunday afternoon. Even though there was hardly a seat left in the house, we enjoyed a lovely lunch, served without too much of a delay.

Thank you for taking the time to drop us a review, it is kind and appreciated and I'm glad you risked the roads in the snow, actually we never really get that much in the valley, much to the disappointment of my kids, thanks again. regards Cb More

In a fairly remote setting (will be too remote for some) but with stunning views even in February. In summer the setting would be almost unbeatable with rolling fields and hilltops cutting a super backdrop. Because there is such beauty window seats get taken early. We had lunch in a dining room which had an 'old world' feel - but... More

We visited the Inn on a Friday afternoon, we were met with the logs fires lit! Bliss! Excellent locally sourced food. One of my favourite local spots! A stop off at the vintners for some take home goodies too. See you all soon

Been here a few times and enjoyed it so decided to visit again on what was a misty murky day. Busy as ever but found a table with a decent view - though have never yet managed to get a window table. Service prompt and starters all good as were the mains - all 3 of us ordered different and... More

All too brief overnight stay for a friend's 50th - large party well catered for in a private room. We stayed in the Piggeries- so spacious and comfortable, tastefully decorated with every amenity a country inn could offer. It made us resolve to treat ourselves more often. Leaving having consumed a hearty breakfast looking out across hills field and a... More
