Fantastic atmosphere , food , service , value. Always been good , but seriously think it's the best curry for miles.

This is probably still the best Indian in Darwen. Service is always good but on my last couple of visits, the chicken was not good. Hope it doesn't go down the same route as Sukhis which was excellent food for a while, and then quality seriously compromised.

Anaz used to be our go to restaurant for tasty food and good service but unfortunately not any more :( Our recent visit was extremely disappointing and left us wondering why it's changed so drastically. The table we were seated at had a stained tablecloth, it took forever for our waiter to take our order and even longer for our... More

We love Indian cuisine and ANAZ was probably the best place you could go for a curry in Lancashire. To be fair it remains clean, friendly and efficient. That said, more recently things have deteriorated. I think at some time in the last few months either the Chef or the Recipes have changed drastically. The curries now lack substance and... More

We visited Anaz with a group of friends there were ten people in total most who had not visited the restaurant before. Everyone of us enjoyed our meals the service was very good and to cap it all it was great value for money.

I first went here in 1988 when I moved to Darwen. I left Darwen in 2007. The portly smiling gentleman keeping a watchful eye on everything looks exactly the same, but I think he may be the next generation. If so he has inherited his father's talents and it is a joy to enter this place. Everything is top notch,... More

Many people always order the same thing. They do this because they want to make sure they have a good meal. It's understandable. Many restaurants have a number of "bankers" on the menu they always do well and sell a lot. However, many restaurants also have a load of stuff on their menu that isn't done very well at all.... I found service a little slow. The sauces with the poppadoms were not as usual in curry houses. Tasted a little too sweet. Starters were good. Main course had plenty of chicken and was tasty and had a kick being a hot curry. Naan however was cold and had not been cooked as garlic butter on it was still thick... More
