Very tasty food. Great value for money. Good staff. BYO bottle is a bonus. The place was very quiet when we went in, but soon filled up.

We used to go to the Dil Raj quite a bit a while ago, but this was our first visit for a long time. Three of us ate on a Saturday evening. The Dil Raj (the name on Trip Advisor needs correcting!) is not licensed, but you can take along your own beer or wine. I must say I like... More

great curry served here, the restaurant is unlicensed but you can bring your own drinks which makes it a cheaper night out!

Previously had a takeaway which was faultless so we decided to go for a restaurant visit. Bit of a squeeze on the seating so could hear others conversations in detail. Mix grill starter for two was tasty. Lamb jalfrezi with pilau rice and lamb shaslick with a garlic naan main courses. Sauce was flavoursome but meat on both dishes was... More

My first sojourn here. I did find the menu quite small however as a prawn lover plumped for the King Prawn Biryanni assured I was on a safe bet. I had to play hunt the prawns as king they certainly weren't. Tasted okay. Peshwari Naan was to my personal liking

Ordered a take away for delivery. Arrived quickly. Over priced, small portions and far far too much salt. Will not go here again.

Accepting that a prime location in the market place probably has a high rent (I'm wondering why else the prices are what they are) just does not justify the pricing. Main meal was dripping in oil, short on flavour and bread was bland. Starters fine. Shame as was hoping to find a great local Indian - will keep looking.

Had the sizzling starter for two to begin with, it was very low on content for £7.50. For a main I had the Hindi cocktail that was watery with just one prawn, one largish bit of chicken and three small pieces of lamb in a sauce that can only be described as watery. You could liken it to some of... More
