Great staff. Very helpful. Lots of all the family to choose from. A cheese toastie and a jacket potato with baked beans £13. Salad and crisps as a garnish plus a drink each - not bad I thought. Didn't give 5 stars because they were mean with the beans! 😜

This place looks great from the outside so we decided to give it a try. The staff were friendly and welcoming and it had a bit of a buzz about it. The food though was disappointing. My husband's "bacon roll" came in two very thin slices of brown bread - not the "roll" advertised on the menu. I ordered a... More

Whilst service was a little slow we enjoyed our tea and fruit scone. Tea came with a pot hot water and scones were very nice. Would visit again.

My wife and I came here almost daily when we visited Alnwick. The breakfast was really good and the service was great.

Asked waitress about history of cafe which was real interesting. Staff working real hard rushing about as cafe was packed solid. Ques outside of door and waiting for tables. We had 2 afternoon teas (delicious) 2 cream teas ( best scones)! And kids had cakes and milkshakes. Basket of toys at back for kids to play with while we read... More

I visited with my brother and his toddler for a mid afternoon cuppa. Bailey's is a big café on a corner in the town, and slightly oddly-shaped because of its position. However this meant it wasn't too noisy as we could pick a corner to sit in. M went to the counter to order our tea, coffee, slice of cake... More

A prime location in Alnwick, but that is where the positives end. We stopped for an early afternoon bite on the way back from the beach. We placed an order of Baileys combo, beef sandwich and nachos, which are all freshly prepared. It wasn't busy(3 other tables in use who had all been served) so it didn't explain why it... More

This is an odd place which is roughly triangular in shape and with a jumbled interior. The guy taking the cash seems to be on the ball but it is all downhill from there on. I placed on order for a Coronation Chicken baguette and a pasty. After 35 minutes the atmosphere was soured when another customer complained hat he... More
