I had this last night - it was cooked to perfection and (although every steak we have had at the Crown has always been excellent) probably the best fillet steak I have ever had. Great clean tasting Otter Ale too....definitely recommend.

We visited here today for sunday lunch with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Had a warm welcome, the carvery was excellent and we will certainly return. So thanks very much Dan.

Great food, the homemade chicken curry is really nice. Good cider choices too. Dog friendly as well.

If you want good food at a reasonable price in a friendly local pub, this is the place to go. The carvery is a gut-buster, the only place where I can never manage a pudding. A choice of tasty roasts and lots of vegetable choices....More

Always accommodating- good food - plenty of variety - lots of car parking space although as it's one of our local we often walk. We have never been disappointed with the food there.

Apologies for late review but had problems with TripAdvisor not working on my phone for a while. We were a large group visiting for a colleagues leaving do on a Sunday lunchtime. All staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was extremely efficient....More

We have a dedicated fryer for chips, and our chips are gluten free not coated in a crisping agent, we also have a great selection of gluten free options on our menu which we are happy to discuss with you Regards Jess

Certainly do and they are proper potatoes not coated so gluten free too, also do new potatoes, jacket, mash and herby dice
