We have eaten at the bridge many times in the last 4 months. The food is always freshly cooked and delicious, my husbands favourite is the moo and blue pie. The staff are friendly and helpful. If I were to have one small complaint it is that all tables can be reserved and it would be nice if at least... More

Great pub with really buzzy atmosphere. Open log fires, local beer, friendly helpful staff. Dog welcome. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a country pub.

As advised, we booked for our party of 5 - although this probably wasn't necessary on a December Thursday. The pub was cosy, clean - and warm. It was freezing outside. The furniture was very comfortable - not your normal pub tables and chairs. The menu was very good and not too extensive. - or expensive. Our party had pheasant... More

A welcoming pub with a good variety of food. Our choice was well cooked, the beer was excellent and the service was without fault. There is a pleasant extension to the bar which offers a peaceful alternative to the bustling bar area.

Stopped here on holiday, the pheasant burger went down well, as did my pie! Was too full up for pudding- but I do regret that. The staff were very friendly as were the people at the bar. Our dog enjoyed the fussing he got and the gravy bones he was given. Lovely food, hopefully we will find the time to... More

What a fabulous pub!! As you would expect from an Exmoor hostelry!! Great atmosphere, food and service. Everyone is so friendly and chatty. Log fire adding ambience to an already lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

The Bridge is was a lovely find whilst we were staying at the local Caravan Club site. It was a really short walk away and offered a proper country pub ambience, from the log fire and selection of local ales. We visited with our two children and there was a small but ample selection of children's meals. The food was... More

We chose the Bridge for 3 of our 7 nights as the food and service is always consistent. It is a nice busy pub with a good atmosphere. Fire is a lovely touch.
