we had a lovely couple of hours here the staff were pleasant and helpful and there were some great local characters who also made us feel welcome. Even though the place was extremely busy we didn't have to wait to long for our food which was lovely . This is a low end eatery and for the price I think... More

Back again for our lunch and drinks in the evening. No problems with food and the speed of service. Must thank the Manager and another member of staff and also an unknown customer who were of great help when on of us was taken ill

We visited here last Friday and decided to try the Friday Fish offer. What a mistake. The food did come out fairly efficiently to be fair, although I'm not sure why they took table numbers when the girl brought out several lots of food to our section and asked everyone in the section whether the food was for them or... Nice and friendly welcome from the staff, we ordered food and it was served in a timely manor. Food was hot and weatherspoon tasty. Great value. Clean. A lot of locals in which gave it nice atmosphere. Would revisit

This pub was extremely busy when we arrived, and the food took a good bit of time to arrive as a result. It wasn't the best Wetherspoons I have been to. Tables took too long to clear and the place looks tired. Good food nonetheless.

Glad you enjoyed your food. Unfortunately when we are exceptionally busy food can take longer than normal due to our upstairs kitchen facilities, and you should hopefully be being informed of any delays at the bar when you order. Occasionally we do get busier than normal and unfortunately table clearing can sometimes take longer than we would like. Your comments... More

Service was good and the decor is quite pleasant. However the meal wasn't really up to scratch and, rather annoyingly, had leaflets pushed on to the table in the middle of a conversation.

Sorry for your poor visit. Your comments have been taken on board. However we do have to change our offers advertised on the tables after breakfast to the appropriate club of the day to encourage those sales and inform all customers of the days offer. More

Went for a meal, the food i wanted wasn't in stock so had no choice but to re order, the food then took 25 mins to appear and was cold and dry, so returned it for a fresh meal that took a extra 20 mins, by which point i was frustrated, then when i got my second meal again the... More

We are sorry for your poor experience. Unfortunately we have just had a 2 week kitchen closure for an extension to the kitchen and so the food order system is mis-judging what we require to order, and on top of that we have had a busier than normal half term week, what with our other pub that used to be... Although very busy, service was good, food edible and every thing was not expensive. Lovely breakfast.

sometimes stop here for a breakfast and its good value the food is tasty and we like the free refill on the coffee, the only strange thing I find is at 9.30 people will be drinking pints around you....not a place for kids but other than that its good value

Thank you for your feedback We do try to encourage a safe family environment and are very popular with families for food. Unfortunately on occasions the drinkers can outweigh the diners More
