Usually when I visit someplace new (like Croydon) I do a quick check of where to find a nice place to visit for dinner. But not this time... It was practically empty save for a bunch of kids running around like it was an amusement park. I visited the carver and just out of sheer stubbornness decided to try something.The... More

Visited here as we were staying in Premier Inn next door. Thought we might eat but soon changed our minds. Barman was more interested in his phone than serving, Children were running around the bar and restaurant area, parents not checking them and staff ignoring them, At one point children were interfering with food in carvery and staff were oblivious... We used to visit this pub regularly. Great for a cheap meal out and there was a kids play area. However, now I would never visit again. Poor service, rude staff, dirty, dirty glasses, mix match cutlery and horrendous food. The place should be shut down. The staff do not have clue how to run a bar. Served wedges instead... More

The service was good. The place was clean and tidy. We visited twice and if we are passing we will go... More

Just really bad. Nothing more to say. Simple dish of fish finger sandwich arrived cold and inedible.

Went here as it was close to the hotel, waited at the bar for a long time, service was chaotic and people were being served out of turn with only 1 member of staff serving drinks and taking food orders. The food was okay, but would not recommend the carvery as all the veg was frozen. The beer was not... More

Service was awful, decor awful, staff awful. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Staff asked where we were sitting, I said no table number available then a heated discussion between myself and bar man

Friday 24th February. Having placed our order at 7:30 for starters and main course we were asked if they could serve it all together. Having said no we then waited 30 minutes for the starters. Eventually the main course came, at 9:05 we tried to place an order for dessert and coffees we were told in a very curt way... More
