I found this place through camra good beer guide on one of our normal Wednesday afternoon jaunts and I have to say that the beer was on point, and a decent price, we all had the hogsback T.E.A. We decide to wait til the kitchen opened for a bite to eat as we all found the specials board very tempting... More

We recently attended the Tasting Evening at the Blue Anchor and experienced an exceptional selection of dishes. Tasting 5 dishes in total (1 starter, 3 mains and 1 dessert) we felt totally spoilt. The flavours were bold yet well thought out. The flavour matching had really been tried and tested. The best dish for me was a pan fried sea... More

Lovely big beer garden and a great place to watch the cricket . Maybe the staff could post a fixture list of the cricket club! The new menu is good and a good selection of beers and staff are helpful even though they are young.

We held a large gathering here recently to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and had a fantastic day. Great setting, delicious food and Richard and the rest of the staff were brilliant. Highly recommend this venue for a get together, special occasion or anything else you fancy!

This pub is great for a small typical English pub. It has a large outdoor beer garden which is lovely in the summer. The inside area is quite small however has a big fire place and sofas to relax in. The staff are always very friendly with quick service. There is usually always a table free in there to sit... More

Came with Biz colleague Menu changed completely Plenty of food intolerance info except nothing for lactose intolerant customers - and many others so ended up with a staggeringly depressing dry chicken with soggy sliced bread toast described as something completely exotic. Something has changed. Gone is the great menu. Replaced by mediocre food that my colleague (who also didn't eat... More

Dear uk-us-punter, thank you for taking the time to provide your first review on Trip Advisor. We are obviously disappointed that you feel your experience at the Blue Anchor was less that satisfactory which we feel was mainly down to your decision not inform us of your particular set of intolerances. Having discussed your comments with our Chef Paul and... More

Went out for lunch with colleagues on a sunny August day. The large beer garden is really nice and there's plenty of space for parties of all sizes. Good selection of beers available and the burger that I had was also very nice (and sizeable!) Service was slightly slow, but understandably so as it was quite busy, hence only 4... More

Situated on the outskirts of Reigate town centre, it has a large beer garden that has a back drop of the Reigate Priory Cricket Club and Surrey Hills. Its a great place to meander the day away or to meet up with friends after work to relax, enjoy a glass of wine and satisfy your appetite with some of the best traditional, locally sourced, home made pub food.In the summer, we take full advantage of our newly landscaped garden, with regular BBQ evenings and social events, so keep up to date with our latest menus and events via our website.
