I've visited a few times over the years, but I will be a regular customer now because things have improved under the new owners. I had fish and chips from there today, freshly cooked to perfection, served quickly by friendly staff. Not much more you can ask for, really. They still do the famous crinkle cut chips and if anything... More

Always come here for chips when I'm in Nuneaton. The chips are crinkle and are always being cooked fresh as you walk in. We often sit us stairs and the staff bring our food up. Great services

This used to be the best in Nuneaton. Not anymore. Paid £7.00 for fish, chips and a coke. Chips over done. "Cod" thin and brown instead of fluffy white and underdone. Cheap, cheap fish fillet. Stale bread roll. Have been coming to Wales for 40 years. Won't be coming back. A complete insult to the former owners.

We have visited Wales chip shop on several occasions over the years and always we have been happy with the food and service. We called in last week for the first time under the new management and was not disappointed at all with the quality of the food and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. At last but not... I've lived in Nuneaton all my life, Wales has always been regarded as the best chippy in the town & well worth traveling to. The lads in the office have just said that they fancied a Wale's lunch. We were informed that it had changed hands but thought we'd go anyway & give it a try. Although the chips are... More

I, under the old owners used to go here 7 or 8 times a year prior to attending a meeting across the road and it was always very busy, I have now been twice under the new owner and found it not so busy, the first time it was not as good as the previous owners, and the second time... More

Just been in and will never go again. I've been using this place for 20 years and it's always been a lovely place, nice polite staff. Went in tonight and was looked at by the girl serving like I'd just relieved myself on the floor. No smile or hello, i didn't think much of this. I found out that it... More

As a regular visitor to Wales Fish Shop in Nuneaton I was saddened to hear that the owners were retiring and apprehensive of the new owners. I needn't have worried. The new owners are young and vibrant that are bringing a new zest of enthusiasm to an establishment with 50 years of history. Also they have a good background within... More
