We ate here for the first time today and although the pub was very busy, the level of service was first class. We were warned that there would be a wait for food because so many people had been seated for lunch. As it happens...More

Where do I start? This pub has two menus....a standard menu serving larger portions for £10.95/£11.95 and a "Silver Bells" menu offering smaller portions for the over 60s @ £6.95. A group of 6 of us visited today and 2 of our party ordered from...More

I am puzzled by your menu pricing. How is it that some items are cheaper at Lunchtimes but others are cheaper in your dinner menu, ie Sharing Platter at £16 for lunch but £14 for dinner? Most of the items are more expensive for dinner, ie: fish and chips. A clearer, more structured menu pricing would be helpful or at least an explantion as to why the prices are so inconsistent. Also I am curious to know why you advertise "a children's play area" when this consists of just one slide? All totally misleading!
